Mrs. Geno came today and did a Fall craft with us. We wrote down things we were thankful for on orange pieces if paper and transformed them into a pumpkin! We are going to hang them in our room for the rest of the month! Thank you Mrs. Geno for coming today and spending time with us!

Exploring Magnets
This week we explored magnets. We had so much fun seeing which objects magnets were attracted to. We learned that anything with iron in it, a magnet will stick to it! We learned that the bigger a magnet is, the more it can pick up. We even saw how magnets could move objects without touching it!

Learning About Our Senses
This week we had fun learning about our five senses. we made a hand that showed how different things feel.
Some of the things we put on our hands were. wax paper, cotton balls, popcorn kernels, sand paper, macaroni.
We learned about colors and got to sort M&M candies, to see which color we had the most of. Then we got to eat them! They tasted great!
Also we would like to introduce you to our new class helper Ms. Bonnie. She is from the high school and is here every week to help us in our classroom. We are very excited to get to know her better and have fun with her!!
It has been a super good week in Kindergarten!! See you next time!!
Book Buddies
Today was our first day of Book Buddies! This is an awesome program that we will do every other Friday. Students from Mrs. Massar's 3rd grade class come down to our room and read stories to our kinder kids. Students are paired with a third grader and this person will be their buddy all year. Eventually, we will be able to read stories to them as well! The kids had a blast with their buddies today! Their smiles say it all :)
